P2P Troubleshooting

P2P doesn't appear for users​

  • Check that P2P is on under Operator Controls → Exchange → Configuration → Features.
  • Check that Enable P2P Trading is on under Exchange → Markets → P2P → P2P settings.
  • Check that the user's account tier is at or above the User Account Minimum Tier.

Vendors can create only buy or only sell deals​

If the buy/sell toggle on the vendor's Post Deal page is locked to one side, check the trade sides you allowed:

  1. Go to Operator Controls → Exchange → Markets → P2P → P2P settings.
  2. Check Trade sides allowed.
  3. To allow both, click Edit Settings and set Trade Direction (Side) to All.

Users (including the admin) can't see the Post Deal tab​

Only users at or above the Vendor Account Minimum Tier see the Post Deal tab. Users on a lower tier, including your own admin account, don't.

To make a user a vendor, raise their tier:

  1. Go to Operator Controls → Operations → People → Users and open the user.
  2. Change their account tier to the vendor minimum tier or higher.

Alternatively, lower the Vendor Account Minimum Tier under P2P settings → Edit Settings, but keep it high enough that only trusted users can post deals.
