Email Customization & Audit
After you set up email delivery (SMTP), you can edit the emails your users receive and send copies of them to audit inboxes. Both are in Operator Controls → Exchange → Configuration → Email.
info
Set up SMTP first. The same page has the Email Configuration section (sender email, SMTP server, port, username and password). For instructions with popular providers, see SMTP email setup.
Customize emails
In the Customize emails section:
- Choose the Language. The list contains the languages set on your exchange, and each language has its own version of every email.
- Choose the Email type to edit. There are many templates, such as login alerts, bank verification and password changes, so use the search to find the one you want.
- You see the current title and a preview of the email. Click EDIT EMAIL to change them.
- Edit the Title and the content. The content is HTML, so you can change as much or as little as you like.
- Save your changes.
Email audit
The Email Copy/Audit section BCCs copies of important user emails to your own inboxes, for monitoring or compliance. You can turn each inbox on separately:
- General audit inbox: copies of general user emails, such as sign-up and deposit notifications.
- Sensitive audit inbox: copies of sensitive emails, such as password and withdrawal emails.
Enter the email address for each inbox you turn on, then save.
Send a test email
Use Send Test Email to send a test to an address you enter, and check that your SMTP settings and templates work.
