Liquidity

Will my platform have liquidity?

Yes. Liquidity is included for major markets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and other high-volume assets. Add these markets in Operator Controls → Markets → Markets & Pairs (see Operator Controls: Markets). Your exchange then has live trading pages, active order books and real-time price charts under your own brand, and you earn fees on every trade.

How does your platform facilitate liquidity integration? Do you provide market-making bots or liquidity network connections, and can we integrate our own liquidity?

Liquidity can come from several places:

  1. Built-in liquidity on the trading engine from the HollaEx Network.
  2. OTC deals and liquidity pools, which can hedge by buying assets on other exchanges. See Liquidity pools and Operator Controls: Liquidity.
  3. The HollaEx Network swap, where HollaEx supplies liquidity directly for certain assets.
  4. A market-making bot powered by OctoBot, which is included. See Market-Making Bot.
  5. Your own or third-party liquidity sources, connected through the API.
  6. Trading platforms that use the CCXT library, which supports HollaEx.

Can I integrate liquidity service to my exchange?

Yes. A market-making bot powered by OctoBot is included:

→ Market-Making Bot

For more advanced requirements, custom liquidity integrations can be built using the HollaEx API.

HollaEx is supported by CCXT, so it works with a wide range of exchanges, liquidity providers and trading bots.

What are liquidity providers?

Liquidity providers are firms that supply buy and sell orders to a market, so trades can happen at fair prices. They buy assets in volume and make them available to exchanges and other institutions that serve retail traders.

You can also source liquidity by running your own trading bot connected to other platforms.

Where is the liquidity for some of the markets coming from?

Liquidity for most of the largest crypto markets, such as BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT, is shared through the HollaEx Network. The HollaEx Pro markets list shows the live shared-liquidity markets available to operators.

Do I get help with liquidity and market-making?

Yes:

  • HollaEx Network liquidity for major pairs such as BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT.
  • A market-making bot powered by OctoBot, included with your exchange. See Market-Making Bot.
  • Custom trading bots: build your own market-making strategies with the HollaEx API.
  • Third-party integrations: CCXT support makes it straightforward to connect external trading bots, exchanges and liquidity providers.
