Guardarian - Fiat On-Ramp

The Guardarian plugin adds a Credit card page to your exchange. Users get a quote and pay by card on Guardarian's checkout, and Guardarian sends the crypto to their deposit address on your exchange. Your exchange never handles fiat.

What you need​

  • The Enterprise plan on HollaEx Cloud.
  • A Guardarian partner account and API key. To sign up, contact Guardarian through guardarian.com/integrate-us and tell them you run a HollaEx exchange.
One credit card page only

The Simplex plugin uses the same /credit-card page. Install Guardarian or Simplex, not both.

Set it up​

  1. Get your API key from Guardarian.
  2. Install guardarian from Operator Controls → Exchange → Plugins.
  3. Open the plugin, enter the settings below and save.
  4. Sign in to your exchange as a test user, open Credit card and request a quote.

Until it can start with the key you entered, the plugin keeps trying again once a minute.

What your users see​

The Credit card page appears in your exchange's sidebar and top navigation. You can change its label like any other menu item (see Customize Exchange).

On this page, users choose the fiat currency to pay with and the coin to receive, and enter an amount. They then continue to Guardarian's own page to pay. On a first visit, Guardarian may ask the user to confirm their details and verify their email.

The page also has a switch for selling crypto. A sale is completed on Guardarian's side: the plugin doesn't take crypto out of the user's exchange balance itself. Try a test sale to see the steps your users follow before you tell them about it.

How it works​

  • For a purchase, the crypto goes to the user's own deposit address on your exchange for that coin and network. If the user doesn't have one yet, the plugin creates it.
  • Once Guardarian sends the crypto, it's credited like any other deposit.
  • Guardarian handles the card payment and its own checks. For problems with an order, users contact Guardarian.
