CoinMarketCap Market Data
The cmc plugin publishes your exchange's market data in the format CoinMarketCap (CMC) asks exchanges for. It's for operators who want their exchange listed on CoinMarketCap. The plugin doesn't list your exchange by itself: you still apply to CoinMarketCap and give them the addresses below.
What you need
- The Enterprise plan on HollaEx Cloud.
- Nothing else. The plugin has no settings.
Set it up
-
Install the plugin. Go to Operator Controls → Exchange → Plugins, find cmc under Available to install and click Install. There is nothing to configure.
-
Check the data. Open each address below in a browser, with your exchange's API domain (Base URLs explains how to find it) in place of
<your-api-domain>, and check that it returns data. Use one of your own markets in place ofBTC_USDT.https://<your-api-domain>/plugins/cmc/summaryhttps://<your-api-domain>/plugins/cmc/assetshttps://<your-api-domain>/plugins/cmc/tickershttps://<your-api-domain>/plugins/cmc/orderbook?market_pair=BTC_USDThttps://<your-api-domain>/plugins/cmc/trades?market_pair=BTC_USDT -
Apply to CoinMarketCap. Follow CoinMarketCap's exchange listing process and give them these addresses when they ask for your API.
How it works
The addresses are public and read-only. Anyone can open them, and they only show market data your exchange already makes public.
| Address | What it shows |
|---|---|
summary | For every market: last price, best bid and ask, trading volume, 24-hour price change, high and low. |
assets | The coins set up on your exchange. |
tickers | The last price and trading volume of each market. |
orderbook | The order book of one market. Needs market_pair, such as BTC_USDT. |
trades | The trades of one market over the last 24 hours. Needs market_pair, such as BTC_USDT. |
Troubleshooting
- "Market pair is required". The
orderbookandtradesaddresses need?market_pair=followed by a market, written with an underscore, such asBTC_USDT.
